Bible Devotion: Your Are CHOSEN!

You Are CHOSEN!! Life shifts, situations happen, trouble comes, people change and the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. But you are CHOSEN to have Life MORE Abundantly. As the count new year approaches, remember you are CHOSEN by God for greatness. In 1 Peter 2:9, it's written, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light." You are Light, yes YOU. You are chosen to Shine and do extraordinary things. God uses the ordinary to achieve the extraordinary. This Friday, draw inspiration from the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Mary was an ordinary young woman from Nazareth, but God chose her for an extraordinary purpose, to bear the Son of God. Mary declared, For with God nothing shall be impossible. She also said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. Mary's obedience and trust in God led to the miraculous birth of Jesus, demonstrating God's extraordinary power through ordinary means. Practice receiving Gods plan for your life by agreeing and saying: Be it unto me. Let go of what's holding you back and trust God to do the extraordinary through you. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. You are God's workmanship, created for good works. Embrace your calling, and get ready for an extraordinary year. You are CHOSEN and life can’t reverse it! LIVE CHOSEN.
